For those of you who haven’t been to the BTWBS before, it’s important that you know the way to get to the festival grounds.
Anyone coming from east or west, take the Franklin exit to La. 3211. This is particularly important for those of you coming from the east. Do not take any other exit from the east, you will end up on the wrong side of downtown Franklin and Main Street will be shut off during festival hours. Access to the bayou side is on the opposite end of downtown, so coming in from La. 3211 will bring you right to it.
We’ll have signs up. After getting on La. 3211, go all the way to the very end of the road. There will be a Walmart on the left and a Valero on the right. There will be a BTWBS sign there, too. Turn right.
Proceed down Main Street. You’ll go around a deep curve at the City Cemetery, with a BTWBS sign pointing the way right around the curve.
If you’re going to the boat landing first, there’ll be a sign on the right just where the cemetery ends, pointing to the LEFT. The lane is narrow, and the boat landing is at the end of it. NOTE: We have not yet received confirmation that improvements to the landing have been done. Please keep up with the page, we’ll post more when we know.
Those who are coming straight to the show grounds continue through town. There will be a signal light where the historic lamp posts begin on the boulevard. There will be another sign for the BTWBS on the right, but again pointing LEFT. This is Adams Street. We’re at the end of the street. Someone will be available to help you get situated when we see you come down the street.
Looking forward to seeing everyone.
